The Special Olympics Asia Pacific Badminton Competition kicked off with 80 badminton players, including 63 athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) from delegations across 10 different countries, including Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and the host country, Malaysia. Held between 17 to 20 September 2025 at Stadium Juara, Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, the meet expands inclusive sports and competition opportunities for people with IDD in the Asia Pacific, who routinely face stigma, social exclusion, and bias.

Bangladesh team won 11 gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze medals. Students Panna and Sajib from Musa Mia Buddhi Bikash Biddaloy, Jhenaidah, bagged 4 gold and 1 Silver medals.

On 22 September 2025, Mr. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee, Honorable Chairman of Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited, hosted a special ceremony to recognize and celebrate these remarkable achievements. Mr. Zahedee presented them with special gifts. On this occasion, he also announced a special honorarium for all teachers, officers, and staff members of the school, acknowledging their invaluable contributions and continued dedication to nurturing young talent.

This remarkable accomplishment brings honour not only to Musa Mia Buddi Bikash Biddaloy but also to Bangladesh on the international stage. It is a testament to the Radiant Family’s steadfast commitment to inclusive education and to empowering every student to realize their fullest potential.
