The Bangladesh badminton team achieved glorious success at the regional competition held from September 17 to 20 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Students Panna Akhter and Naimur Rahman Sajib of Musa Mia Intellectual Development School, operated by the Zahedi Foundation, who participated in the “Special Olympics Asia Pacific Badminton Competition 2025” held in Malaysia, were accorded a reception.

According to a press release issued by the Zahedi Foundation on Sunday, the reception was organized at a grand ceremony held on Saturday in Gulshan, Dhaka, under the initiative of Special Olympics Bangladesh.
The regional competition took place from September 17 to 20 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where the Bangladesh Badminton Team achieved remarkable success.
In the competition, Panna Akhter, a talented student of the Musa Mia Intellectual Development School in Jhenaidah, delivered an outstanding performance and won three gold medals. Another student from the same school, Naimur Rahman Sajib, brought pride to the nation by securing one gold medal and one silver medal.


Officials of Special Olympics Bangladesh, coaches, guardians, and other concerned stakeholders were present at the reception ceremony.
