Jabeda Khatun Academy and Musa Mia-Nurunnahar Collegiate School at Jhenaidah

Two Educational Institutes have been initiated in Jhenaidah as a corporate social responsibility of Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited through the benevolent organization, “Zahedee Foundation”.

The initial activities of Jabeda Khatun Academy at Wirelesspara and Musa Mia-Nurunnahar Collegiate School at Gopinathpur in Jhenaidah began with the laying of the foundation stones by Mrs. Nurunnahar Zinnatul on April 24, 2023.

There will be 3 academic buildings at the premises of Jabeda Khatun Academy those named after her three late daughters. Foundation stone for Nurjahan Bhaban laid by her grandson Mr. Khandakar Sabbir Ahmed Charly, Jahanara Bhaban’s foundation stone laid by her daughter Mrs. Nahida Akter Zahedee and, for Rowshon Ara Bhaban her son Mr. Md. Hasanuzzaman Kallal, Secretary, Ministry of Children and Women Affairs laid the foundation stone.

These two coeducational institutes, Jabeda Khatun Academy will be dedicated for elementary level (from nursery to grade 5) and Musa Mia-Nurunnahar Zinnatul Collegiate School will admit students from grade 6 to grade 12 level.

A discussion meeting was held on the eve of these foundation stones laying ceremony at Rahul Smriti Auditorium, Chamber Bhaban, Jhenaidah on the same day. Mr. Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee, Chairman, Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited and Executive Director of Zahedee Foundation presided over the discussion meeting. Mr. Md. Hasanuzzaman Kallal, Secretary, Ministry of Children and Women Affairs, former secretary, Mr. Nur-Ur-Rahman, Vice Chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society; Mr. S.M. Rafiqul Islam, DC, Jhenaidah , Mr. Md. Quayum Sharear Zahedee , Mayor, Jhenaidah Paurashava were present in the podium. Educationalists, citizens from civil society, members of Zahedee Foundation and Zahedee family were also present in the program.

Specialty with these two institutes are, all of the text book based educational activities will be done at the institute premises and will encourage extra curriculum activities at home so that they can develop and implement their learning in both social and professional life. Students will get quality education as capital city and these two educational institutions will open new horizons of education in Jhenaidah, added by Mr. Zahedee in his speech.

Zahedee foundation has been giving relentless effort to ensure quality education in Jhenaidah area by constructing academic buildings, patronizing special school, skill development institute and through scholarship programs for years.

The institutes will be run under the direction supervision of a team of experts in education from Zahedee Foundation.
