An International-Standard Educational Institution Dedicated to Female Students
A new chapter in women’s education has begun in Jhenaidah with the official inauguration of Nurunnahar Jinnatul Collegiate School, an international curriculum-based educational institution established exclusively for female students. The school has been founded under the initiative of the philanthropic organization Zahedee Foundation with the aim of providing globally competitive and quality education.

The inauguration ceremony was held on Monday afternoon at the school’s own campus, comprising Three multi-storey buildings, located beside the BRAC (NGO) Office on Shaheed Mashiur Rahman Road, Jhenaidah. With this event, the institution formally commenced its academic journey.
Nurunnahar Jinnatul Collegiate School will offer international-standard academic programs designed specifically for female learners, creating a secure, modern, and intellectually nurturing environment to support their holistic development.
The nameplate of the institution was formally unveiled by the distinguished guests. The school was inaugurated by Begum Nurunnahar Jinnatul in observance of the 94th birth anniversary of the late Language Movement veteran Zahid Hossain Musa Mia, Founder Chairman of Zahedee Foundation.

The event was graced by Mr. Md. Naser Shahriar Zahedee Mohul, Chairman of Zahedee Foundation and Chairman of Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited, as the Chief Guest.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Nahida Akter Zahedee, President of the School Management Committee. Among the notable speakers were Mr. Lutfar Rahman, District Education Officer, and Mr. M. A. Latif Shahriar Zahedee Prajjal, Director of Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited.
In his address, Mr. Naser Shahriar Zahedee Mohul stated:
“This collegiate school has been established to fulfill my mother’s dream. We also aspire to establish a private agricultural university in Jhenaidah, alongside two more educational institutions, the groundwork for which is already underway.”
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Mr. M. A. Latif Shahriar Zahedee Prajjal and Brigadier General (Retd.) Mostafa Kamal Rusho, along with other distinguished guests, educationists, and well-wishers.
The establishment of Nurunnahar Jinnatul Collegiate School reflects Zahedee Foundation’s continued commitment to empowering women through education and contributing to sustainable social development in the region.
