With the inspiring theme “Let darkness be cut away by the sharp edge of reason,” a three-day debate training workshop was successfully organized by the Jhenaidah Debating Society, with the support of Zahedee Foundation. The final day of the workshop marked the culmination of an engaging and impactful learning experience for young students.
With the objective of spreading the culture of debate and nurturing future debaters, the closing-day training sessions were conducted at two educational institutions in Jhenaidah: Muktijoddha Mashiur Rahman Girls’ High School, located at the heart of the city, and M. K. Secondary School, situated on the outskirts of the town.
The day-long workshop was formally inaugurated by the respected Head Teachers of the respective institutions. Thanks to the enthusiastic and active participation of students, each session of the workshop was lively, interactive, and intellectually stimulating.
To ignite critical thinking and logical reasoning among young learners, the workshop featured articulate discussions, hands-on training sessions, and practical debate exercises. Students actively engaged in these segments, gaining foundational skills in debate techniques, argument development, and effective presentation.
The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates among the participating students, marking the successful completion of this meaningful initiative.
