Musa Mia Diabetic Centre, Harinakundu, Jhenaidah
As part of the welfare activities of Zahedee Foundation, the Chairman of Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd. & the CEO of the foundation, Mr. Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee, founded Musa Mia Diabetic Centre at Harinakunda Upazilla in Jhenaidah district of Bangladesh on 23rd November 2018.
The Diabetic Centre has inaugurated by President of Bangladesh Diabetic Association, and an independence award- 2018 recipient on Social Welfare, Professor Dr. A K Azad Khan. Along with him, Professor Dr. M. A. Rashid, CEO of Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital and Research Institute (BIRDEM), and Professor Dr. Faruque Pathan, Endocrinology Dept. of BIRDEM, as special guests, were also present in the inauguration program.
The guests also presents their valuable thoughts on a seminar on “Awareness is the key element for diabetic control” in presence of 300 doctors and community members of area.
Musa Mia Diabetic Centre is the first diabetic centre of the remote area. With two experienced doctors, the centre is well equipped with modern diabetic and other checkup instruments. Among eight of the testing machines, the ‘Immunochemistry Analyzer’, that executes hormone and other tests by latest freeze dried chemistry method, is the first ever machine of the district. The people of the area and the nearby Upazilla will get easy access to testing and investing services from the diabetic centre with low costs.
Mr. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee, on his addressing during the inauguration, expressed his strong conviction that the Diabetic centre will be a modern hub for disease investigation in the upcoming days.
Musa Mia Diabetic Centre initiated its activity with the specialized guest doctor’s visit of patients on the same day.
Earlier on June of the year, Mr. Zahid Hossain Musa, Chairman, Zahedee Foundation laid the foundation stone of the centre.
