Telecommunication system of Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital Developed by Zahedee Foundation
To accelerate the medical care facilities, of Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital, in 2012, Zahedee Foundation supported to installation and development the internal telecommunication system (intercom) with 96 telephones. The hospital did not have any internal communication (intercom) system and it imposed many difficulties in communications among the doctors, nursing station, wards, pharmacy and other service points. The tremendous impact of the development on the patients, doctors, nurses and other officials has become vivid soon after the installation of the system and overall activities of the hospital. Subsequently, Zahedee Foundation has been supporting the hospital by providing Oxygen cylinder, Oxygen cylinder van, high flow oxygen machines, ventilator systems, infant care machinery.
The same hospital has acute shortage of assistant nurses and cleaning staff as there was not enough fund provided by the government. Zahedee Foundation appointed four assistant nurses in the female ward and ten cleaners for the hospital that has significantly improved the services and environment of the hospital.
